Inspire Integrated Resort Review
The owners/operators of Mohegan Sun in the U.S. and Incheon International Airport Corporation have teamed up to create a mega-resort and "airport city" in the Incheon Free Economic Zone in South Korea. The development would be situated next to the Incheon airport and offer a one-of-a-kind experience. Gaming and entertainment space would cover some 300,000 square meters (3,229,173 square feet) and will have at a minimum:
20,000 sq. meters (215,278 sq ft) of gaming space featuring 1,500 slot machines and 250 gaming tables.
More than 18,500 sq. meters (200,000 sq ft) of retail, food, art and music entertainment experiences. Plans are to celebrate the cultures of both development partners with a Korean village featuring Korean food, and music, as well as a Native American cultural and arts center. The retail center alone would house 60 popular outlets along with more than 20 food and beverage outlets.
A sports and entertainment center which would be the largest in South Korea and hold as many as 20,000 patrons.
A two tower hotel complex with 300 six-star rooms in one, and 700 five-star rooms in the next.
An indoor/outdoor amusement park with high tech rides and a dozen outdoor attractions.
